We believe that God, in His own being, is an outgoing God. We see this when He sends His Son and Spirit. We believe that we have been drawn into that work through union with Christ by the Spirit. Therefore, we must take part in Christ’s mission, reaching out to those not yet in Christ and those in need. Therefore, we will seek to invite unbelievers to our church, to be aware of them in our gatherings, and to share the gospel with them. We will also endeavour to engage in intentional outreach together and individually.
Question: Does the church have a mission that is separate from God’s mission somehow? Or is our mission found in being united to Jesus and his mission?
