Sunday Service

What to expect on a typical Suday evening:

You can expect to be welcomed, whoever you are. You can expect to meet a diverse group of people, but each seeking to know God better.

At OCC, we switch between ‘Celebration Sundays’ and ‘Community Group Sundays.’

A ‘Celebration Sunday’ looks like a reasonably standard church service. We sing, we pray, God’s Word is read, we hear a sermon, then we spend time talking together over a cup of coffee. (Current sermon topics below.)

On ‘Community Group Sundays’ things look a little different. We still sing and read God’s Word, but then we have a recap from last week’s sermon and discuss that together in small groups.

Children

Our kids are precious to us. We want them to be together with us, but also to get age-appropriate teaching.

Our Sunday school group is for school aged children from grade 1 – 7.

Younger children and their care givers can use our dedicated children’s room, where children can play and caregivers can still hear what is happening in the church service.

We meet at 17h00 each Sunday

Address: 61 Hidipo Hamutenya Street
Olympia, Windhoek

Sermon Topics

In 2025 we will begin with a series of sermons on Jonah. Following that, from late February, we will turn to the ABCs of the Christian faith and Christian living. Then, from late April we will explore the first 4 chapters of Matthew’s Gospel.
